There’s more to a great balcony than just good-looking furniture. One of the best ways to spruce up your balcony space is to add plants and flowers, but if you have limited space you don’t want pots to take up too much space.
We’ve put together some tips on how you can add splash of greenery to your balcony without losing out on space.
Use creepers
You can save yourself a lot of space by using creepers instead of normal plants. All you need is a pot to hold the soil and a suitable area for them to ‘creep’ onto – any wall or balustrade will do. You’ll need to maintain the plants though, as some parts of the creeper may die during the changing of the seasons.
Make use of the wall outside
Instead of putting a variety of pots on your balcony that can potentially take up a lot of the available space, why not use the wall? Clever products – like the MiniGarden – allows you to grow beautiful looking plants on the wall itself, saving you a lot of space and adding a bit of cool green to the balcony.
